The EBM Group has completed the acquisition of land in Kladno with a total area of over 50,000 m2, on which it will build a new city district with more than 400 residential and rental units. The construction will take place in several stages between 2024-2028 and will offer a home to those who desire affordable and quality housing with all amenities within reach of the metropolis.
"The current situation on the residential real estate market is driving up the prices of flats in Prague, and many people are starting to have a dream of living in the metropolis. Our project will attract everyone who is looking for a suitable alternative to comfortable living with perfect transport accessibility to the centre and the outskirts of Prague, "explains Jan Šulc, CEO of EBM Partner, which is the project developer. Jan strengthened the top management of the EBM Group in 2020 by joining Skanska Property Czech Republic, where he previously worked for nine years as a project director.
The largest city in Central Bohemia, Kladno, is located 20 km northwest of Prague and has all civic amenities. The new district will be connected by an underpass to the main railway station with a non-stop connection to the centre of the capital. The planned expressway, which will start to be built in 2022, will speed up the route and compete with the metro lines.
